Thank you to everyone who helped, participated in, and attended the sold-out Winter Guard International!

WGI was an astounding sold out event featuring 26 groups from around the North Eastern US with a world champion group, AMP, coming up from NJ as well as the amazing group, Visage, traveling all the way from Quebec! Our very own Corning Painted Post Winter Guard took 1st place in not just the preliminary showing but also in finals, making this incredible group of hard working performers Regional WGI Champions!! They performed "Walking in Memphis", directed by Kira Farley, to a packed gymnasium, creating quite a stir with their performance resulting in standing ovation and more than a few wet eyes from the audience.

The majorettes also did a fantastic performance. This was the largest number of performing groups we've had for this event to date. And the 50+ volunteer show exactly what an incredible amount of teamwork it takes to pull this off!
