Pep Band
Registration for the Corning Hawks Basketball Pep Band is now open through Nov. 6 at www.tinyurl.com/cpppep23 
  • Open to all instrumentalists who play a part in marching band-style arrangements (sorry, no double reeds!). The ensemble is co-directed by Mr. Mike Simons and Mr. Donny Allen.
  • The band rehearses in November and plays at home varsity basketball games from December to February. It also performs once at Elmira College Hockey (January) and for Hawks Unified Basketball in May.
  • The band plays classic rock and pop tunes and is UNIQUE in Section IV athletics — no one else has one like we have! 
  • If you're a first-year member of the marching bands and/or new to CPPHS, we want you!!  We're looking for a roster of 50 members, and ALL are welcome!  We DO expect you to make a strong commitment to the ensemble — but we'll work with your schedule (Winter Guard, Indoor Drumline, and CPP Hawks athletics).

FUNDRAISING
  • Please read the information sheet for each fundraiser.
  • Write neatly and clearly when filling out forms.
  • Families/students are responsible for checking the order form and payments for accuracy.
  • Place the order form and payment(s) into a sealed envelope.  Clearly write the student's name and Fundraiser Title on the envelope.
  • Place the sealed envelope in the black box at the director's office.
  • Due dates are firm! Please hand in the fundraiser on or before the due date or you may have to return money to your supporters.
  • TAKE NOTE OF DELIVERY / PICKUP DATES & TIMES. We have NO facilities to store perishable products! We have very limited storage and access. If you cannot attend delivery date & time, please make alternate plans.
  • What: Krispy Kreme Donut & Coffee Fundraiser
  • Who: Anyone Who Participated in the Fundraiser
  • Details:
    • The proceeds from the Donut fundraiser can be used to apply credit to specific individuals
    • If you would like to apply credits to specific band students, please contact Erika Lakota at elakota1@gmail.com
    • If you already emailed Erika, PLEASE EMAIL AGAIN
    • Fundraiser orders must be fully paid before credits can be applied

  • *** Band Booster Officer Elections ***
    • It's the time of year when we look to the future of the Boosters Board. If you would like to volunteer or nominate someone to fulfill an officer position, please let us know ASAP at cpphsband@gmail.com. We desperately need a Co-Treasurer and Secretary, but there are also positions of President & Vice President to be voted on. This is an opportunity to guide the future band trips, events, and activities and improve the band experience for you & your students.
    • Nominations will be presented at the November 9 Booster meeting and elections will be held at the December 7 Booster meeting. There will be a transition meeting for exiting / incoming officers on January 42024.
    • To be included as a voting member, please fill out the membership form and choose "Yes! - ..." to the first question and complete the form.
